The parents or guardians of young men enrolled at Kooch-i-ching accept financial responsibility for their son's/ward's enrollment which includes his tuition, his travel to and from camp and any incidental expenses. In addition, Seniors and CITs who go on a Hudson Bay trip are usually charged a Trip Fee not to exceed $500 that is used to help defray the cost of the train and float plane travel associated with "the big trip."

Kooch-i-ching's 2009 tuition costs are as follows:

Preps (completing grades 3, 4 and 5):
7-weeks - $5900; 4-weeks - $4200: 3-weeks - $2900

Juniors (completing grades 6 and 7):
8-weeks - $6950; 4-weeks - $4200

Intermediates (completing grades 8 and 9):
8-weeks - $6950; 4-weeks - $4200

Seniors (completing grades 10 and 11):
8-weeks - $6950* *Trip fee not included

Although Kooch tuition costs are substantial, it is worth noting that only about two-thirds of the camp's operating expenses are funded by tuition revenue. The remaining one third is provided by endowment income and by the annual gifts of alumni, parents and friends.

Parents or guardians should include a $800 deposit with any application. In addition, parents or guardians of 2009 applicants are responsible for meeting the tuition payment schedules outlined below:
