Thanks
to the generosity of alumni, parents and friends, each year the Camping
and Education Foundation is able to offer tuition assistance to young
men and women who might otherwise be unable to attend Camps
Kooch-i-ching and Ogichi Daa Kwe. While financial need is a primary
basis for awarding this assistance we are also interested in bringing
young men and women of unusual promise and outstanding character to our
two camps.
The Camping and Education Foundation strives to
provide access to Camps Kooch-i-ching and Ogichi Daa Kwe to a broad
range of campers. We encourage families who feel they may need
financial help to apply for tuition assistance. Tuition assistance is
mostly need-based and typically ranges from 20 percent to 40 percent of
the base tuition. Awards are determined by the Tuition Assistance
Committee and are based on funds available in relation to the total
number of requests per year. In order to best serve the financial needs
of all camper families, we ask applicants to complete our Tuition Assistance Request Form (Click Here).
Once returned, the application will be reviewed. Successful tuition
assistance notifications will go out at the beginning of each camp
year. A payment schedule may also be arranged if necessary.
